I believe Happiness is a state of being that is often associated with emotions such as joy, pleasure, and contentment. It is a psychological phenomenon that requires experiences that makes us joyful, curious, or satisfied. Each person has their own unique set of beliefs, points of view, and practices that bring them delectation and pleasure.
Finding significance in one's life is closely tied to happiness, regardless of success or fortune. As the famous author Schopenhauer once said, "It is difficult to find happiness within oneself, but it is impossible to find it anywhere else." However, even though it is believed that we discover happiness on our own, doing so is not always simple. It requires guts, self-love, and belief in oneself to begin with.
Each person has diverse needs, and while meeting those needs and desires, people often fail to value the connections they have formed along the way. We often lose sight of the fact that we have worked hard to produce the fruits of our labor and should treasure them. In the end, we are searching for the bliss that was left behind during the entire journey. Success is meaningless if we are unable to enjoy the fruits of our labor and continue working towards success without ever being pleased with it. Spiritual leader Dalai Lama once said that "Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions." This teaches us that happiness is an outcome of our own deeds, not something that can be easily attained or bestowed upon us.
It is important to focus on our own opinions of ourselves rather than being preoccupied with what others think of us. We tend to be more interested in receiving compliments from others to determine whether we are doing well and appear attractive. But do you ever give yourself praise? I assure you that complimenting oneself is much more satisfying than receiving one from someone else. You'll feel more content inside.
“Happiness is all about acceptance”. To experience true happiness, growth, and evolution it is crucial to accept ourselves with our strengths and imperfections. Happiness is all about acceptance and being authentic and being honest with oneself rather than aiming to be perfect.
Everyone pursues his/her own route through life, running into challenges as he/she grows and learns the ropes. We are conscious of the fact that there is no turning back and that we must continue. So, why put up with this agony when we are all aware that this is the route we must traverse? Instead, let's forge forth with excitement and cherish each step of our journey.
