As a living being, with emotions and feelings, I am often treated as if I don't exist. Without even considering for our safety, We are bred to fulfill the needs and desire of our customers. Many of us struggle to survive, while dogs bred for wealthy customers get to live in comfortable houses . They get good food, shelter, and affection, Whilst those dogs have pedigree for their food, most of us who live under a roof of sky often struggle to get clean drinking water. We are often kicked and denied even the scraps from human’s plate. We scream in pain and hunger at night, but no one ever hears us. If anyone witnesses us howling, they strike us as hard as they can because they think our cries are nefarious.

Despite all this, If somebody loves us even a little, we will be faithful to them for the rest of our lives. We are the most devoted companions a person could possibly have. We remain faithful to those who show us love and kindness. We protect their homes and help them solve heinous crime such as human killing each other. We  even give our lives safeguarding them from intruders. We don't ask for much, just a little compassion and respect but we are forced to fight in rings for human’s pleasure and benefit. Dog fighting ring claims the lives of nearly 10,000 of us each year. We are doomed to cry in pain and suffering.  

Regardless of how much money you have, how you treat us reveals your genuine humanity and worth as a person. Be wealthy by heart. Be a true human. It's time for humans to be more humane and to stop animal cruelty. Let Humans learn from us about being dutiful, faithful, compassionate, rather than just keeping pets to boast about their social media presence and showing fake love to gain sympathy.
