March 5th, 2025, the green lawns of the Biratnagar International College (BIC) reverberated the laughter, music, and hues as the day witnessed the much-awaited BIC Spring Carnival 2025. It was a day of celebration, harmony, and the commencement of the spring season, and with that, a flourishing sense of excitement that turned the campus into a joyous celebration.
The entire college was in festive excitement as the students made their entry in hues of pastel to maintain the bright ‘Vibrant’ theme of the Carnival. From light pinks to lavenders, light blues, to lemon yellow, the attire added a touch of softness that paired well with the bright, sunny tone of the season. With the use of spotlights and lively music in the background, the Carnival was now an instant getaway from the dullness.
The carnival held space for diverse range of games and activities. The students took active roles in interactive stalls, as well as amusement games that not only promoted competitive spirit but also laughter. The games involved were less about winning and more about living in the moment.
And what celebration can be complete without food? The BIC Spring Carnival did not disappoint in that either. The scent of savory snacks in the food stalls filled the entire campus, making every person long to leave the dance floor and games, at least temporarily. The diversity of food added spice to the celebration environment and tied all of them with common tastes and discussions.
Music, however, was the center of the carnival. Bright melodies paired with joyous tracks made the audience dance to their hearts’ full without pause. The students danced under the open skies, basking in the moment of joy. The dance floor filled with students amd later sparked with the indulgement of the teachers, wearing their bright personas and making the occasion better than ever.
The spirit of community made the BIC Spring Carnival 2025 all the more special. Each laugh exchanged, photo taken, dance move, and the talk of being at the same spot brought people closer together! Classmates, teachers, and fellow students, who had previously only exchanged nods in the corridor, now interacted more and enjoyed themselves together.
The carnival was a celebration of life, embodying the vibrancy of youth and the joy of shared experiences. It served as a reminder that, while studying is important, it is also essential to take a break, relax, and enjoy moments with the people around us. Creating memories together holds a high priority in our lives as well.
When the sun went down at the 2025 BIC Spring Carnival, the students walked home smiling, their hearts filled with joy and memories in their minds of a perfect day. The spring atmosphere, sunny, with lots of colours, and lots of bonding, stayed long after the day of the carnival was over.
