Biratnagar International College (BIC) was once again the hub of innovation, creativity, and youth brilliance at BIC Next Gen 2025, held from April 22 to April 25. The multi-day celebration was an inspiring display of student potential, imagination, and problem-solving skills, which reflects the college's commitment to grooming the next generation of innovators, thinkers, and game-changers.
What Was BIC Next Gen 2025 About?
BIC Next Gen 2025 was a festival of new ideas and experiential learning. It was designed with an aim to create curiosity and allow students to work on actual problems through innovative solutions. It was an experience of textbook theory becoming reality in the process by way of real action.
Students engaged in numerous activities that encouraged innovation and teamwork, stretching from technology-enabled presentation and design competitions to business pitches and project presentations. Campuses resonated with innovative ideas, passionate debate, and promising futures.
How Were the Students Engaged?
Throughout the four days, students presented a good balance of innovation, technical skill, and logical ability. Presenting as individuals and as teams, they designed innovative models, virtual innovation, product ideas, and research-based ideas that were appropriate in their academic studies and their ability to put them into practice.
From ideating novel solutions for common problems to building entrepreneurial ideas with business viability, the students were bursting with entrepreneurial energy. Judge and mentor feedback from across industries helped the participants sharpen their ideas and out of the classrooms.
The variety of projects from technology, business, and arts to sustainability and beyond stood as a testament to BIC's interdisciplinarity and to the college's dedication to learning in its broadest possible sense.
A Celebration of Skills and Vision
BIC Next Gen 2025 was not an exhibition of what the students know; it was an exhibition of what they can do. It highlighted the importance of taking classroom learning out into real-world problems, building confidence, and looking ahead.
The exercise also focused on soft skills like teamwork, presentation, time management, and flexibility, soft skills needed in the modern world. The students gave each other support, learned from others' experience, and had nice interaction and thus made the experience collaborative and competitive.
