On March 13, 2025, every color imaginable covered the green lawns of Biratnagar International College (BIC) in the spirit of Holi. The BIC Holi Fest 2025 came alive with a celebration of joy, togetherness, and cultural extravagance! An unforgettable afternoon of fun, music, and dance with colors bonded the students to the very spirit of BIC's living community.
A sense of excitement filled the air as students entered the venue, all dressed in white. Their attire provided the perfect backdrop for the vibrant explosion of colors that would follow during the Holi celebration. The pinks, greens, blues, and oranges that scattered through the air were not only visually stunning but also symbolized the joy found in diversity.
Anchoring the ambience was music from the heart, thumping Holi numbers to contemporary hits that filled the day with electric energy. The dance floor was a melting pot of students and faculty, where no one stopped to draw the lines but formed bonds through countless smiles and laughter.
Among the most beautiful aspects of the celebration were those focused on safety and eco-friendliness. The college took special responsibility ensuring to use natural, skin-safe colors and making the whole event environmentally friendly. This made the celebration enjoyable for everybody without compromising health and nature.
Like every other celebrations, food was an integral part of the Holi Fest. The all-time favourite snacks and beverages energized everyone, while the goodies from the stalls lured even the tireless dancers to stop and taste. Students shared stories and selfies, induced by plates of savory and sweet treats.
The day was marked not just by colors in the air but by something in the atmosphere, an atmosphere deeply charged with magic and with people being united on Holi Fest. Every participant was reminded that such shared experiences held significant weight in our lives. They enable us to unwind, unloose our heart, and cherish memories that extend far beyond the college days.
As the sun set in, with the last colors to settle on the grass, the students walked away with colorfully-dyed shirts along with the happiness of a day well spent, laughter of all moments shared, and ascending with a glorious sense of belonging. BIC Holi Fest 2025 was a vibrant chapter in the students’ lives, not just a festival.
